The VIII edition of the 2019 SME Expo will take place at the Centro de Convenciones de Costa Rica from June 28-30 on the framework of the SME International Day.
This activity has been taking place since 2012 promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade (MEIC) as a space for meeting, knowledge, exposition, sale, commercial, financial and non-financial contact for the strengthening of the entrepreneurship of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprise that boost the development of Costa Rica’s economy. This year, the expo is being organized with the help of the National Institute of Learning (INA) and the Women Foundation.
During the activity, there will be diverse spaces for innovation, exportation, the regionalization of participating SME and the green and creative economy. Among the activities, participants will have access to the SME market, business roundtable, consultancy to start a business, workshops for the needs of entrepreneurial people, and SMEs of the diverse sectors of the economy, among others. Part of the novelties of this year is the Fashion Show, which is a spaced coordinated with the Costa Rica Fashion Week, where entrepreneurs and businessmen, emerging national fashion designers, will participate.
