“From our very beginning we have trusted in Costa Rican fashion creation: innovative, creative, with social responsibility and friendly with nature. We also make a great effort to have fabric, consumables, machinery and technology providers come despite our small market,” explained Juan José Jiménez, General Manager of the CRFW.
The 2019 edition of the CRFW will have four main pillars: the SME Expo; fashion shows; talks, trainings, and workshops; and social and cultural interest activities.
“The SME Expo will be a textile fair, conducive for business, where exhibitors can offer their products and services, machinery, technological tools, shoe items, jewelry, clothes, personal and care. We will have free educational lectures and trainings, always with an entrepreneurial focus. We will also have artistic enrichment segments for everyone, without forgetting the most important and striking event: fashion shows, which are an ideal showcase for emerging designers, fashion design graduates, and national and international consolidated designers,” added Jiménez. Among the aspects that differentiate the CRFW from other fashion events is that regular buyers and public are invited to participate, and they are usually excluded.

The national closure will be led by Priscilla Delgado, and the international closure will be led by Jaime Luna (Panama).
For the first time in 18 editions, the CRFW will be held at the Centro de Convenciones de Costa Rica, a place that meets all the needs and conditions to keep making our event an environmentally friendly activity.
